LOOM EXPLORATIONS
FLOOR LOOM SAMPLES WITH CHENILLE & METALLIC SPOOL
Weaving samples on a floor loom isn’t just a creative exercise—it’s a quietly soothing break from the everyday. The steady rhythm of passing the shuttle and beating in the weft gently pulls you into the moment, calming the mind and anchoring your thoughts. It is in these meditative practices I am able to reconnect with my creativity and ideate new patterns and concepts.

PEN & INK 5x5” PATTERN EXPLORATIONS
During my college years, I had the opportunity to study abroad in India, visiting ten cities and exploring their Mosques, Temples, and Palaces. At each location, I was captivated by the intricate hand-carved architectural details. Through ink drawings, I sought to capture my admiration for these meticulous designs, curating a portfolio that served as a visual record of my travels.

RUST DYED, SCREEN PRITNED ORGANZA OVERALLS
Growing up near Detroit, I participated in community efforts to revitalize abandoned lots filled with trash, rusted car parts, and overgrown vegetation. Inspired by these clean-up projects, I repurposed found materials, using natural processes to rust dye organza. I then screen-printed iconic Detroit buildings onto the dyed fibers, merging elements of urban history with a contemporary aesthetic. To further honor the cleanup effort, I constructed worker overalls. The contrast between the delicate organza and the harsh materials used to dye the fibers symbolizes the bittersweet transformation of Detroit's neglected neighborhoods.
MURALS

DOGS’ UNLEASHED - 2018
GROSSE POINTE SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL - 2015
For over a decade, I’ve poured my passion for art into creating large-scale murals that transform spaces and spark conversation. Rooted in visual storytelling, my murals are an exploration of pattern, color, and the profound impact of art on a space or product. The skills I developed in planning and executing these expansive pieces have deeply influenced my design process today. My early days as a muralist were both humbling and formative, teaching me the value of scale, planning, and the power of bringing a space or product to life in unexpected ways.
